My Aunt

I am an involved aunt. Sometimes I wonder if that’s all my family sees in me, is the unmarried aunt who can babysit at anytime. But now I see the difference I’m making in my nieces and nephews lives and the memories we are making together. I’m not JUST an Aunt. I AM their aunt.

I purchased the book.

A friend (Barbara) wrote a LinkedIn post about her conference experience and recommended the book “readers will not be disappointed “. I ordered the book, read it in a single sitting and wow, it did not disappoint. It was a welcomed and needed reminder to me of the significance we each bring to this world and those around us with our inimitable gifts and ability to make a difference even in the simple moments. Thank you! I am excited to PASS IT ON!

John

After hearing the story I asked for a card because I wanted to pass the story on to other people and let them know that they are making this world a better place. Something so small as this card can make someones day! I hope that whoever gets this card knows that they are doing GOD’s work and that they are changing the world for the better.

Wesley

How?

I will give this card to someone who is making a difference in someones live. Someone who is changing the world for the better.

My name is Wesley. I grew up in a small town in East Tennessee. I always had big dreams of playing basketball my whole life. I played college basketball for 3 years and my senior year I realized that I didn’t love the game of basketball anymore. It broke my heart that a coach had taken the love of the game I have played since age 5 away from me. My first trip back home my high school coach offered me a coaching position at my old high school. It was one of the best days of my life. I have been doing it for 5 years now about to start my 6th year. I would trade the kids I coach for anything in this world. I promised myself that I would never make a kid feel the way my coach made me feel in college. I want the to love the game of basketball and also learn how to grow into young men. I know that I can be role model to these kids I coach and I push myself every single day to be the very best person I can be for those kids. The best feeling in the world is seeing the smile on their face when I come in to practice. GOD took playing away from me but GOD opened a bigger and better door for me in coaching these kids. GOD has blessed me so much in life and I am so thankful that he gave me these kids to coach.

After reading Jon’s story, I was so touched. I am going to spread his story and tell all I meet that they too are significant and are making a difference in the world just by being who they are. Thank you Jon for this motivating book. May God continue to bless you with the many gifts and talents you share with us.
