The journey of cards travelling around the world.

The journey of cards travelling around the world.

Wesley

How?

I will give this card to someone who is making a difference in someones live. Someone who is changing the world for the better.

My name is Wesley. I grew up in a small town in East Tennessee. I always had big dreams of playing basketball my whole life. I played college basketball for 3 years and my senior year I realized that I didn’t love the game of basketball anymore. It broke my heart that a coach had taken the love of the game I have played since age 5 away from me. My first trip back home my high school coach offered me a coaching position at my old high school. It was one of the best days of my life. I have been doing it for 5 years now about to start my 6th year. I would trade the kids I coach for anything in this world. I promised myself that I would never make a kid feel the way my coach made me feel in college. I want the to love the game of basketball and also learn how to grow into young men. I know that I can be role model to these kids I coach and I push myself every single day to be the very best person I can be for those kids. The best feeling in the world is seeing the smile on their face when I come in to practice. GOD took playing away from me but GOD opened a bigger and better door for me in coaching these kids. GOD has blessed me so much in life and I am so thankful that he gave me these kids to coach.

I purchased the book

After reading Jon’s story, I was so touched. I am going to spread his story and tell all I meet that they too are significant and are making a difference in the world just by being who they are. Thank you Jon for this motivating book. May God continue to bless you with the many gifts and talents you share with us.

Jon Petz

I attended a very entertaining and enjoyable performance by Jon Petz called “Boring Meetings Suck”. It was very true and SO inspiring! I still say “It’s Showtime!” on nearly a daily basis. About a year after the workshop, I gave my book and 7 of hearts to a close friend that was doubting herself at the time. I had never seen her that low and it was very hurtful to watch. She was the one who would always bring me up when I was down. I was happy to be able to share my experience and Nathan’s story with her. Fast forward 6 years. I’ve been having some rough times, and met her for lunch two days ago. She had a gift for me, wrapped in a pretty flowered box with a pink and orange bow. It was the book Significance and “our” 7 of hearts. The same book and card that I gave to her when she was down. It made such an impact that she knew I needed it back. So, Jon, I thank you once again for lighting up that path. “Life is my stage and every day is showtime!”

Jon

I got this card with Jon’s book when he came and spoke to us at a Leadership Retreat. He was amazing – both as a speaker and as a magician. Thank you, Jon, for making a difference!
