All 1,500+ staff of the district were gathered for the dreaded beginning-of-the-year meeting. Many of us, I'm sure, were thinking about all of the work that needed to be done before the students arrive on the first day of school and hoping that the required meeting wouldn't last too long. Little did we know that we were in for laughter, amazement, and inspiration orchestrated by Jon Petz. The message of "Significance in the Simple Moments" prepared us to again make a difference in the lives of the students we were about to influence in the new school year. It was an unforgettable message that gave us a new look at the importance of who we are the difference we can make, and a message that we could pass on! We choose to be the 7-of-hearts in others' lives!
