My boss received the book from his friend and former boss Stephanie as a gift. He passed it to me and I will pass it to my coworker. It gives you a great perspective on how to view yourself and the impact you are making by simply being kind and courteous which is something that unfortunately is not being taught to children today.

I received the card from Jon at conference to pass on to someone who makes a difference. I am passing the card onto TJ TATE. She is the GM at a hotel who has done more than go above and beyond during the Covid-19 Pandemic. She considered every employees personal situation before any one was furloughed. The majority of staff elected to stay on with reduce hours or salary which shows staff dedication to her and the compassion she has for each and everyone of us. She puts in long hours, works multiple positions EVERY DAY (even before the Covid-19 Pandemic). She remains optimistic for our property, it’s employees, and clientele which is very much needed in a time of so much chaos and uncertainty.

I am a Program Supervisor for a group home. My area director mailed this to me along with a card thanking me and our staff on how great we all work together and her appreciation for all of my dedication, compassion and loyalty for my staff and individuals we serve.

I am a Program Supervisor for REM WI and just received this card from my amazing boss. Tysm

I work for REM WI which is a company who manages and staffs group homes. I am a program supervisor, which means that any shifts that don’t get covered, I’m responsible to work. My boss sent me a beautiful note and this 7ofHearts card to let me know she appreciated me and my hard work, as life has given me the crappy end of the stick for quite a few months now. It was a unique and fun way for me to feel appreciated.

This month, I am choosing to give the 7 of Hearts to Melody. Melody is celebrating her 10th(?) year here at Aptiv. She has been a consistent and supportive staff who is flexible when we need to change her schedule and willing to work with anyone that we need in that moment. She asks good questions when she doesn’t know something, and she also takes feedback well and tries to grow and learn from it. Her dedication and support to our participants is evident because she is usually one of the first people here every morning, even if she isn’t scheduled until 8. I have never seen Melody in a bad mood or even frustrated, and she is always speaking so kindly about all participants and staff and laughing at the goofiness of daily life here. Thank you, Melody, for your time and energy you have put into Aptiv and Day Services, and thank you for the overall presence that you bring!
