I purchased a deck of cards to share them with others that I see making a difference. I want to share and start a positive energy wave with others to see our world become a better place.

I read your book ‘Significance in Simple Moments’ and was very moved by your story. Thank you for sharing. Just so you know, I passed the book and the 7 of Hearts card inside to a High School Teacher that makes a difference in the lives of her students every day.

Julie, co-worker gave it to me and suggested that I listen to a video or two. She attended and said the speaker was awesome.

Just in a place of needing some positivity!

My Boyfriend

My boyfriend gave me this card and told me this story. I was hooked. He got me a deck of cards and I am giving them out to all my yogi students in February.

How?

I received the book from a best friend I have know n since kindergarten when I was going through some troubling times in my life.

I am a 52 year old man who on 10-11-15 gave himself the best gift anyone could ever receive, sobriety. I have come to find out that alcoholism is a DISEASE that many people suffer from, but can be treated, not cured if we have the desire to stop drinking and take that first step into an AA meeting. Since being sober I have had some significant events happen that if I was still drinking I am sure the alcohol would have killed me. I have chosen to turn my will and my life over to the care of a higher power who I choose to call God. Yes I still have pain and struggles this is what is called life. I have just learned how to cope with them in an easier softer way, thy will be done. And reading Significance In Simple Moments has confirmed this. My motto each day is “I am reasonably happy today” I am this way if I continue to wake up each day sober. I have a wonderful support group of family and friends that make all things right.. I know if I do the next right thing then I am on a path that will continue to make me the good person I know I am. I could go on forever but in a nut shell this is my story. If you live life today and not worry about tomorrow you too can be reasonably happy today. God speed.

Som1 at my office and I will also pass it to som1 at our office who I feel went above and beyond to help som1 feel special or appreciated.

After seeing a positive OUT OF STOCK report this morning, I took the time to send out an email thanking everyone involved with this aspect of our distribution company. Once this email was received, a positive email chain began with members of the company that generally don’t get along and or see eye to eye. This went all the way to the top of our company, with the owners responding and taking notice of everyone’s hard work and devotion to the task at hand. Like with many companies across the country, gratitude and appreciation for one employees hard work is seldom recognized. Today there is a sense of positivity and team unity amongst the employees here at our company and believe me, it is much needed!!! thank you.
