The journey of cards travelling around the world.

How?

I will give it to Laura Sallee.

On a very cool December afternoon, I was the only teacher outside to work the car pick up line. Laura, a classroom teacher, saw me running back and forth trying to do the jobs of three people due to my other teammates being absent. Laura came outside without a coat on and helped me. I want Laura to know how much I appreciated her help on that very cool afternoon! Mrs. Laura is awesome!

How?

John Petz after he spoke at our staff meeting and shared his beautiful story about the 7 of Hearts!

Just waiting to find a person that makes a simple moment significant to me so I can pass on this amazing story!

How?

I received a deck of 7 of Hearts cards from my Human Resource Director as part of a training offered to managers wanting to become better leaders and make a difference in the lives of our employees and patients. I hope to pass along these cards to people as I can to spread the message and encourage others to find greatness in family, friends and random people we meet everyday.

To start the card on it's journey, I will be giving them to the staff that helped me run a skills fair for all employees. By giving of their time and knowledge to their peers, they are helping to change our culture and hopefully realize how valuable they are to our organization.

How?

My long time best friend gave it to me for my birthday. I'm giving it to another friend for their birthday.

I am just a simple person doing a simple job of teaching, loving, and trying to shape the lives of the preschool children in Muhlenberg County Ky. At the age of 44 I went to college and received my degree in Early Childhood Education, and used it to open my own preschool daycare center, serving children ages 3-5 years old.
