How?
Jon Petz gave me the Significance book after speaking at the MBS conference in Portland, ME. After hearing his story, I was so inspired and wanted to be a part of helping children and inspiring others to explore life outside of their comfort zone...you never know when your actions will make a difference!

How?
I was given this heart touching card by my very good friend Tyler Sprowl during the Upward Bound summer program in Brunswick, Maine. The best summer of my life.
One day I was given this card by Tyler and told that I had made an impact on his life. I’m so very grateful that I could do that for him, when I didn’t even realize I was. I will always cherish the memory knowing that I made a positive mpact on him. Thank you Tyler.

How?
My card was at the back of my book and I will give my card to my friend Emma who made it possible for me to attend the conference.
I have been in transition for a while now and have not attended the Garden State Conference for about two years. I am certified and one of the ways to received recertification credits is by attending conferences such as this one. My friend Emma made it possible for me to attend the conference by lending me the money I needed for the hotel. I volunteered to work for the Garden State Conference under three commitees, Registration, Students and Co-chair for Volunteers. Thank you for this very inspiring and thought provoking book!

How?
This card was given to me today from a wonderful woman in the audience during an Interim Health Care Leadership Meeting.
There was a reason she and I had met today and I’m thankful she shared some of her story with me. She’d had a very difficult day and I’m so glad I could help her see things a little brighter than they were before.

How?
It was in our bag. Often you get a lot of things that may not be useful. By far, this was the best item I ever received.
When I got home from the Conference, I looked inside my bag and there was this book. Today, I finally had the opportunity to read it and it truly touched my heart. I often hear I’m “Just A”. Everyone has something that they can do and/or say that can made a difference in someone’s life. We all make an impact every day. I am going to share this book with my team. My personal goal is to recognize those simple moments that I probably took for granted or missed.

Picked the Card up when Jon spoke at our companies customer appreciation event.
Really enjoyed the story behind the 7ofHearts. Hope others take the time to make simple moments for others and themselves. You never know who you may influence today.

Kelly Mitchell might be a custodian according to payroll, but he is so much more than that to the students of Taylor Co. Elementary School. He celebrates students’ accomplishments and birthdays, he reads with students, he defends students when they are being mistreated, and he makes sure a smiling face is the first thing students see as they exit their cars. He is a motivator, mentor, and positive role model for our students, and he makes a significant difference in the lives of our students every day.
