Maine Youth Leadership was such a fantastic experience and it taught all of us sophomores who attended so much about ourselves, others, and what we as humans are capable of doing for others. This card symbolizes all that we learned and all of the growing that we did while there. I hope the person receiving this card knows how valuable they are in the world and how much of a difference they’re capable of making within this great human experience.

While I haven't met Dr. Janikas, his reputation for sharing the 7 of Hearts message is heard all the way in Ohio. It is people like him who help me believe that we WILL find Nathan's family one day and share the impact that Nathan continues to have around this world. I feel humbled and honored that I had the experience to meet Nathan and share his story- and one day I hope to be able to meet Dr. Janikas as well. I work for East MO Action Agency, a Community Action Agency that helps change peoples lives by empowering them. We were having a Agency Spring Meeting and I won the book. I had lost my husand of 47 years 6 months prior, which I still have not recovered from, but the book was so uplifting. When I found the card in the back I knew I had to give it to someone to uplift them. I have a friend who has had a brain tumor removed, I am giving her the book as well and hope it helps uplift her.
