#53527 JANET

Theresa and I have been best friends since college in 1980. No matter how many miles or how deep the oceans, are between us, or how long it takes us to make the next call, the minute we are back together its like not one day has passed. I so wish everyone in the world had just such a friend to share happy times, losses, embarrassments, triumphs, pets, children, and life. . Theresa gave me my 7ofhearts on my 2019 birthday and she said it was just for being me and her best friend. After watching the 7ofhearts video / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUd-sh7A1kE /I was touched and knew I had to make sure MY card started its journey to Nathan's family.. You will never be JUST anything… ever again

I work for East MO Action Agency, a Community Action Agency that helps change peoples lives by empowering them. We were having a Agency Spring Meeting and I won the book. I had lost my husand of 47 years 6 months prior, which I still have not recovered from, but the book was so uplifting. When I found the card in the back I knew I had to give it to someone to uplift them. I have a friend who has had a brain tumor removed, I am giving her the book as well and hope it helps uplift her.

I attended two of Jon’s presentations today. Awesome & inspiring gentleman! I vow not to leave his message behind in the conference room. Thanks for realizing your gift to others and sharing. Your friend, Rich Lynde

I was sitting in the front row during Jon's keynote address at our conference. I was immediately mesmerized by his awesome red shoes! (I LOVE red! Just bought a new car and one requirement was the color red!) And I had just had a conversation with a lady I met in the hallway walking to the conference and we were discussing the color red! Anyway, I thought Jon was amusing at first, but I'm not easily captivated, so I was "multi-tasking." As he continued sharing his story, my intrigued deepened. By the last 10 minutes, I was no longer multi-tasking and completely captivated and touched by the story of Nathan. I got the book "Significance..." and a deck of the Mem-cards with the intention of sharing with my entire team with the hope that many of them will continue the journey and make a difference to someone else. Jon helped me to remember that your gift doesn't have to be huge, or landmark, but you can make a huge difference in someone's day and someone's life by utilizing whatever gift(s) God has given you. I'm going to start by thinking about each person in my department and writing a personal note to them to include with the "Mem-card" and encourage them to remember that they are so much more than "just a..." This will be great exercise to make the most of my travel time back home. Maybe I'll find someone in the airport to be more than "just a..."

I had the privilege of hearing Jon speak at a Seminar of HR Professionals. He shared a beautiful but sad story on how he made a difference to a young boy and his family. He encouraged each of us to take a single moment and make it Significant. I have chosen to take up this challenge and do my best to make one moment in someone’s life as Significant as possible in as many opportunities that present themselves. There was not one dry eye in the room when Jon shared his Significant moment. I only hope I can complete this moment in the same humility and grace in which Jon did.

This card was found at my college right before a nursing skill check off. It gave me hope.
