The journey of cards travelling around the world.
The journey of cards travelling around the world.

I got this card on my third day of work as a school psychologist. Third day of my career. So it’s terrifying, exciting, and overwhelming. Receiving this card means something to me and I hope it does for those who follow.
I received this card at the Olentangy Local School District convocation for the 23-24 school year after hearing Jon Petz speak and share the story of the card. I loved the story he shared and the connections he made throughout his speech. As an educator, it was very moving to hear the significance and reflect on how everything I do in my classroom can make a difference in my students lives.
Jon was Olentangy’s guest speaker today for the kick-off to our school year! WOW what an incredible/impactful presentation!
The 7 of hearts story resonated with me deep. I lost my brother to cancer 18 years ago this September. I know how much it meant to him to have special guests and visitors say YES to taking time out of their day to make his hospital stay more bearable. It’s people like Jon who matter so much!
I plan to use the 7 of hearts in my classroom as a sign of empathy, love, compassion, support to my students who need it most. ❤️
I was inspired by Jon’s story. I plan to use the book in my meetings with our 2000+ employees. For those of us in the services industry, treating people with respect and dignity leads to trust and loyalty. Jon reminds us to “deliver simple moments anywhere.” Thoroughly enjoyed his words and impressive magic.
I attended an insurance conference that frankly I was not looking forward to going to. Jon was one of the keynote speakers at the conference. As it turns out, I had a wonderful time there with one of the many highlights being Jon’s presentation, which was immensely entertaining and inspirational. I’m so glad I went and had the opportunity to hear Jon speak. I was truly moved, left refreshed with a new outlook on life, ready to make moments personally and professionally.
I attended leadership seminar that Jon spoke at and was struck by the message. We really can all make a difference.
